Abstract

1394475 Rotary mixers MACHINEFABRIEK TERLET NV 13 March 1973 [9 Feb 1973] 11934/73 Heading B1C Mixing apparatus comprises a cylindrical vessel 2 with a conical bottom and an agitator secured for rotation with a rotary shaft 12 extending coaxially of the vessel a first agitator blade 1 is secured to radial arms 9, 10 extending from the shaft 2 and is positioned close to the cylindrical side wall of the vessel. The second agitator blade 18 is secured to arms 16, 17 which extend from a further radial arm 14 attached to the shaft 12, the blade 18 .being positioned close to the conical bottom of the vessel. A whirl partition 15 is secured to the radial arm 14 and an upper radial arm 13 attached to the shaft the arms 13 and 14 being angularly offset so that the partition is inclined vertically. In use that agitator may be driven intermittently.
