Abstract

1393672 Belt drive mechanism EDMUND TAYLOR (ENGS) Ltd 19 July 1972 [27 April 1971] 11716/71 Heading B8A A drive mechanism for an endless belt conveyer comprises a roller 18 slidably mounted and biased towards a roller 10 by means of an adjustable spring. Endless belt conveyer 40 passes round driven roller 10, through the nip between rollers 10 and 18 and over roller 18. At each end of roller 18 a shaft 20 is slidable in a guide slot 22 and engaged by a compression spring 30, adjustable by means of a screw 32. The conveyer is used in an egg collection system in a battery cage for hens.
