Abstract

1392454 Building walls L J MULTON H J HUMBY and J N ALDERSON [trading as LEONARD J MULTON & PARTNERS] 5 Jan 1973 [5 Jan 1972] 407/72 Heading E1B Infill cladding of bricks 10 for concrete frame buildings is secured in position by elongated anchoring rods 2 having lateral projections 3 embedded in the mortar of the brickwork, the rods having projecting ends slidably engaging socket members 5 embedded in concrete beams or floors 9. The joints between the brickwork and concrete are closed by mastic 14. An outer cladding 15 is screwed to the inner cladding 10 by ties 18 and is supported on the ground or on a concrete step 16. The projections 3 may be notched or bifurcated.
