Abstract
1392438 Sheet forming RUBEROID Ltd 20 July 1972 [20 July 1971] 34042/71 Heading B5A [Also in Division E1] An article, e.g. a roof flashing piece, is formed from sheet thermoplastics material, e.g. P.V.C., with transverse corrugations 3 extending from one edge of the sheet to a position short of the opposite edge. The non-corrugated part 4 of the sheet is set at an angle to the remainder, and, in the particular example, serves as an abutment for a wall 10. The portion 4 is formed with a shoulder (8), Fig. 2, not shown, or a series of projections, so that a split tube capping 11, Fig. 5, not shown, can be fitted when the pieces are placed to form a ridge. During forming the sheet can be heated by an infra-red heater.
