Abstract

1391645 Air conditioning BENTELER-WERKE AG 6 July 1972 [10 July 1971] 31789/72 Heading F4V [Also in Division B1] A heating and/or cooling and air humidification assembly comprises a housing 1 with an air inlet and outlet and containing tube heating or cooling elements 11 Fig. 2, not shown and a record housing 1 corresponding in size and shape to the first housing with side walls in abutment the housing 1 also having air-inlet apertures 10 and top air-outlet apertures 19, a water tank 3 for humidifying the air, a cross-flow blower 2 a first baffle 6 for guiding air entering at 10 toward blower 2 and a second baffle 5 for guiding air adjacent blower 2 towards outlet apertures 19. The baffles 5 and 6 are in the form of pivoted flaps movable via levers 50, 23 and 60 from knob 26, wherein according to their position air can in addition be drawn into the housing 1 from port 29. Flap 6 is pivoted from air deflector plate 12. Pipes 7 and 8 extend transversely of housing 1 and co-operate with similarly placed pipes in the elements 11 to provide hot or cold water thereto from supply pipes 21 and 22. Preferably each heating/cooling unit and humidifying unit has a blower 2 in its base, the units being used in conjunction with each other in several possible arrangements, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 (not shown). A filter 4 is provided.
