Abstract

1391555 Cams ZAKLADY PRZEMYSLU METALOWEGO H CEGIELSKI 22 Aug 1972 [26 Aug 1971] 39070/72 Heading F2K An apparatus for selecting one of a plurality of setting members 3 to influence a control signal, each setting member having a valve of this signal corresponding to it, and for altering the position of the setting member 3 which is influencing the control signal to provide a correction of this, comprises a rotatable cylindrical member 2 on which the members 3 are provided, each with a surface 3a which can co-operate with a lever 10 and a pusher 16 to control a pneumatic signal provided by a valve 15. Teeth on the member 3 engaged by lever 10 are engaged with gearing 8 which can be rotated via a worm gearing 9 (Fig. 4), to alter the set signal from the valve 15 by movement of member 3. Selection of another member 3 is by rotation of member 2 via a chain gearing 12 from a control lever (Fig. 1, not shown). The set valve of each member 3 is determined by the thickness of a spacer 4. Each member 3 returns to its central position (determined by a spring 6), on disengagement from gearing 8. The longitudinal displacement of a member 3 by gearing 8 is limited by sleeves 5 and a buffer 7. The apparatus may be used in a remote control system for internal combustion engines.
