Abstract
1390978 Current conductor rails KRAUSSMAFFEI AG 31 Aug 1972 [30 Sept 1971] 40428/72 Heading B7L A current conducting rail for use with a high speed rail system consists of aluminium and is provided with surfaces A, B, C, D for the support and guiding of collectors. The rail may have a hollow cross-section, either square, rectangular, T-shaped or diamond shaped. The rail may also have either a single or double-webbed vertical support with inwardly or outwardly directed feet. The upper surface of the rail may be of V- or inverted V-section. A covering of steel may be provided on all or only part of the rail to reduce wear caused by current collectors.
