Abstract
1386092 Testing circuits PLESSEY CO Ltd 17 April 1972 [20 April 1971] 10191/71 Heading G1U A circuit testing apparatus comprises semi-conductor switching means for scanning terminals in a system under test to detect the presence of conductive paths there between and a comparator for comparing stored signals representing a particular terminal with the corresponding test output signal to provide an indication of an inter-connection fault. Inputs 3 to a system under test 1 are selectively earthed via T.T.L. logic switches 2 under the control of a tape cassette programme 4. The inputs are monitored by a scanner 5 operated by a clock pulse generator 11. When an input specified by the tape programme 4 is reached by scanner 5, coincidence circuit 6 provides an output which opens inhibitor 9 to pass any signal indicating earth potential (i.e. incorrect inter-connection). The fault signal 12 stops further clock pulses being generated and operates a display 13 and printer 14 so that the fault location may be recorded and determined
