Abstract

1385837 Photographic processing device ALEX L CLARK Ltd 5 June 1973 [5 June 1972] 26670/73 Heading G2X A device for use in processing photographic roll film (50) comprises an elongate band 30 of flexible material constructed to receive the film laid longitudinally on one face of the band and to provide access (e.g. via perforations 40) of liquid to each side of the film when located on the band, and a reel 10 having a spaced pair of end members 12 and a plurality of rods 14 mounted in parallel spaced relationship on the end means so that they form a cylindrical cage, and means (e.g. pins 18a, 18b) for releasably attaching each end of the band with the film thereon to the reel when the band is wound helically on the cylindrical cage. Band 30 preferably has a concave upper surface which defines a trough. Different width bands may be used for different width films. In one embodiment Fig. 3 (not shown), bands 60a, 60b each with a film thereon are arranged one above the other on the cage.
