Abstract
1385253 Impact pulverizer's NIPPON STEEL CORP 12 July 1972 [12 July 1971] 32528/72 Heading B2A A coolant chamber is formed in a crushing blade 2, 2' Fig. 2 for an impact pulverizer. The blade is mounted for. rotation at one end and includes coolant supply 10, 5 and exhaust 6, 8 means for the chamber. Coolant fluid may be liquid or gaseous. The chamber is divided by a partition 3. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 2 coolant flows firstly through blades 2 and returns through blades 2'. The leading edges of blades 2, 2' may be reinforced with wear resistant material. In a second embodiment coolant is fed in at one end to both pairs of blades and withdrawn at the other, Fig. 4 (not shown). In a third embodiment coolant is supplied along an array of blades via passages which form a double, interlocking helix, Figs. 5, 6, 7 (not shown).
