Abstract

1382347 Pipe couplings SOC ANON DES ETABS NEU 16 Feb 1972 [16 Feb 1971] 7144/72 Heading F2G [Also in Division B8] Apparatus for selectively delivering particulate material from a single conduit to one of a plurality of conduits or for delivering material from any one of a plurality of conduits to a single conduit comprises a fixed plate 1 with a plurality of conduits 2 on a common pitch circle diameter and a rotatable plate 4 with a single conduit 5 mounted on a similar diameter circle for alignment with a selected one of the conduits 2. Inflatable seals 3 are arranged coaxial with each conduit 2 to seal the end of each such conduit with the movable plate 4. The seal is deflated when the plate is to be rotated to align the conduit 5 with another conduit 2. In an alternative embodiment, Fig. 4 (not shown), a seal (21) is mounted on the end of the movable conduit (22).
