Abstract

Race games, mechanical.-Relates to the type of game in which the racing-pieces are each attached to a separate cord which is wound upon the device provided so as to impart independent and irregular movements to the pieces. Such apparatus having the pieces formed with curved under portions has included straight lengths of track connected by curved lengths, and also obstacles, but in the present invention, in order that the apparatus may suit requirements as to length of the tracks or the size of the available table-room, the parts are separable and independent. Fig. 1 shows, in plan, the parts assembled, and Fig. 3 one of the racing-pieces surmounting an obstacle with its ditch. The curved lengths 4 have the upper edges of the tracks beaded, so as to prevent detachment of the traction cords 10, which pass from the winding-devices 13, the cords being attached to the curved bases 9 of the racing-pieces. Wires 20 for securing the obstacles in place simulate the railings and posts about a racing course.
