Abstract
1375288 Piston and cylinder assemblies BAHCO VERKTYG AB 26 Oct 1972 [27 Oct 1971] 49420/72 Heading F2T A piston and cylinder assembly includes a seal ring arrangement 3, and a guide ring 10 in a groove 9 of the piston 2, the guide ring 10 having a generally cylindrical surface slidable against the cylinder wall and a convex surface engaging a generally straight bottom of the groove 9. A locking ring 13 may define the lower edge of the groove 9, and the assembly may be used in an hydraulic lifting jack, pressure being applied through a connection 6, while springs 7 return the piston 2 when the pressure has been released.
