Abstract

1375186 Ventilators SERCK INDUSTRIES Ltd 10 July 1972 [9 July 1971] 32458/71 Heading F4V A damper comprises a number of coacting blades each mounted on a driving spindle 13 at one end and an idler spindle at the other so as to be rotatable to open and close the damper. Each spindle 13 is formed with diametrically opposite axial grooves, joined by a groove across the end. The blades 12 have rectangular cut-outs fitting with the grooves. The spindles 13 have bearings 29 and are coupled by levers 15 to a common actuating rod 16 operated by an electric motor. The spindles and bearings may be of plastics material.
