Abstract
1375048 Toner developer apparatus XEROX CORP 3 Jan 1972 [6 Jan 1971] 126/72 Heading G2H In a xerographic printing machine the toner is 'wiped' over the electrostatic latent image on the drum 10 by a donor cylinder 26 which receives its toner from a fluidized bed 34. Transfer of the toner from the bed is effected by electric charge and the toner is carried by the cylinder through an application of corona charge to its dielectric covering 28. Associated with the donor cylinder are neutralizing charging means 40, cleaning means 42 and charging means 30, 40 both before and after the passage of the surface of the donor cylinder through the toner bed.
