Abstract

1373410 Cleaning photo-conductive surfaces EASTMAN KODAK CO 23 Dec 1971 [28 Dec 1970] 59961/71 Heading G2H Residual toner particles are dislodged from a photo-conductive surface 10 by a cleaning element having bristles or blades 21 mounted on a hollow core 31, and the dislodged particles are drawn through holes 27 in the core 31 by a source of suction connected to the interior of the core. Preferably the element comprises conductive rubber blades 21 which are electrically biased by a metal flicker 32.
