Abstract

1373170 Endless plate conveyer KRIVOROZHSKY ZHELEZORUDNY TREST "LENINRUDA" 24 Feb 1972 8663/72 Heading B8A A plate conveyer comprises a frame formed by interconnected sections with supporting parts for each section, an endless plate conveyer chain mounted on the frame, the chain comprising articulated links secured to transverse cylindrical bars for engagement by cam means on a track chain drive for the conveyer chain, the drive engaging both upper and lower runs of the conveyer chain simultaneously. In Fig. 1, frame 1 comprises a plurality of sections 6 joined by hinges 7 and supports a conveyer chain 4 to which is attached a plurality of trough-shaped plates forming a plate conveyer 5. Chain 4 is driven by two pairs of endless track chains 3, cam means on the links of the chains 3 engaging with transverse bars on which links of chain 4 are mounted to drive the conveyer chain. The frame is supported on telescopic posts 2 which are operated by a system of a piston and cylinder together with levers. The conveyer may be moved under its own power. Two or more such conveyers may be used in series (Figs. 15, 16, not shown). The frame sections comprise four guides interconnected at their ends with strips attached to form runways for rollers of the conveyer chain 4 (Figs. 3, 4, 5, not shown).
