Abstract

1371189 Bibs T M CULLEN 18 April 1973 [18 April 1972] 18701/73 Heading A3V A bib for infants comprises a facing 1 of towelling material to the back of which is adherently fixed a pliable water-proof plastics material layer 2, the edges of the bib being bound with a fabric binding 3 the ends of which are extended to provide fastening tapes 4, 5. The layer 2 is preferably of polyvinyl chloride and may be applied by means of a water resistant adhesive, e.g. an epoxy resin or by heat sealing or as a semi-liquid coating or spray which subsequently solidifies. If desired a facing of towelling material may be applied to both sides of the plastics layer 2.
