Abstract

1370541 Centrifugal fans H BRECHBUHL 26 June 1972 [25 June 1971] 29805/72 Heading F1C A centrifugal fan comprises a peripheral casing part 11a containing the discharge connection 13 and provided with annular flanges 11a' overlying corresponding annular flanges on two side parts 11b, 11c of the casing. When the peripheral part 11a has been turned to bring the discharge connection to the desired angular position, it is clamped relative to the side parts 11b, 11c by tightening the screws 15a, 15b of clamp bands 14a, 14b. The fan can be assembled for operation in the opposite hand, i.e. the peripheral part 11a and the impeller 6 can be assembled in the reverse position. For this purpose, both shrouds 6a, 6b of the impeller have holes 8 for fixing, by means of rivets or screws 7, to the back plate 12.
