Abstract
1368784 Animal foodstuffs ASTRA NUTRITION AB 8 Dec 1971 [9 Dec 1970] 57031/71 Heading A2B An animal foodstuff comprises not more than 40% of a substantially fat-free, tasteless and odourless fish protein, not more than 45% of a carbohydrate, which is steam-processed rice, maize, oats, wheat or potatoes, not more than 10% of a fat, the percentages being by weight of the foodstuff, together with a vitamin and a salt, the foodstuff being substantially free from lactose. The protein is preferably obtained from fish meal or another fish protein source by solvent extraction. The foodstuff may be mixed with warm water to form a gruel, and thus fed to young animals.
