Abstract

1361310 Multi-storey garage C R SALLOUM 26 June 1972 29858/72 Heading B8E A multi-storey garage comprises rotatable annular parking platform at each level surrounding an access ramp. Each platform 14 is rotatable to bring a desired stall 16 opposite a bridge 31 at each level providing the connection to the spiral ramp 21 having up and down ramps 22, 23 leading from an entrance 13a. A turntable 32 may be provided to allow a vehicle to be turned round without reversing. The rotation of the platform 14 may be controlled from a point 36 on the bridge 31 or from a point 37 on a walkway 26 leading to lifts 27. The turntable is controlled at 39. Other arrangements of platforms are shown where one way ramps are provided internally and externally of the platforms, where alternate level platforms are displaced outwardly of the others and where two levels only are provided the upper level being at ground level.
