Abstract
1360292 Transistor amplifying circuits HITACHI Ltd 26 Sept 1972 [27 Sept 1971] 44422/72 Heading H3T In a differential amplifier comprising transistors T1, T2 with the collector to emitter path of a further transistor T3 as common emitter impedance, the base biases on the transistors T1, T2 are derived from a further transistor T7, in emitter follower connection over resistors R4 and R9 and R7. The input is applied to the base of transistor T1, over capacitor C3. An output stage comprising complementary transistors T4, T5 is driven from the collector circuit of transistor T1, negative feedback being applied from the output terminal to the base of transistor T2 by means of resistors R6, R7 and D.C. blocking capacitor C2. Transistor T6 comprising a current generator provides a D.C. path for transistor T5. The arrangement provides for the rapid charging of capacitors C2, C3 and decoupling capacitor C1, and also prevents a "pop" signal being produced, on switching on. Fieldeffect transistors may alternatively be used.
