Abstract

1360280 Building frameworks ISHIKAWAJIMA-HARIMA JUKOGYO KK 20 July 1971 [10 Aug 1970] 33947/71 Heading E1W [Also in Division F4] . . A reinforced concrete and/or steel building framework includes ladder-like columns 1 formed from a number of components arranged one on top of the other, some of the columns 1 being arranged in opposition to form units 'a' using cross-braces, e.g. 5, Fig. 4, and others being interconnected and connected to the units by single beams, e.g. 6, Fig. 6, all the connections involving the use of overlapping plates, e.g. 13, 15 bolted to the Components. The beams 6 are connected to the column components 3' by angle plates 17, and the column components, which may have more than one cross-member, are interconnected by plates 13, Fig. 3, apertured spigoted and socketed blocks, 10 and 9 respectively, being set into the components to receive the bolts.
