1359335 Liquid developing apparatus RICOH K K 11 Oct 1971 [5 Nov 1970] 47163/71 Heading G2H An electrostatic latent image bearing sheet (not shown) is extracted from a developing tank 1 at a speed greater than 15 cm/sec by a metal surfaced roller 7 which contacts the imaged surface and a squeegee roller 8 which has a surface resistance of less than 107 ohms. cms. It is stated that the low resistance of the squeegee roller reduces image smudging at high feed speeds. The rollers may be electrically biased.
