Abstract
1359089 Curing epoxy resins SCHERING AG 25 April 1972 [27 April 1971] 19093/72 Heading C3B Epoxy resins are cured by polycarboxylic acid anhydrides using as a catalyst pyrrolidine (I) or an adduct of I with a mono- and/or polyepoxide or an adduct of I with a carboxylic acid anhydride. The epoxy resin may be a glycidyl ether of bisphenol A. The anhydride may be employed at 0À7 to 1À2 equivalent of anhydride per equivalent of epoxide groups. The amount of I or adduct thereof may comprise 0À01-30% by wt. of the mixture. Uses.-Mouldings, encapsulation of electrical components, powder coatings.
