Abstract

1357827 Tip-up seats; tables combined with seats; seats; securing seats in rows ANONIMA CASTELU SAS 28 Jan 1972 [29 May 1971] 4047/72 Heading A4B A4H A4J and A4U A chair comprizes a back rest 3 supported between the longer arms 2a of a pair of spaced V-shaped side supports and a tip-up seat 6 carried between the shorter arms 2b, each V-shaped support having a bottom recess 8 engaged with a supporting cross-beam 9, the end of each shorter arm 2b having an integral domed cap disc 4 to which a detachable frustoconlcal member 5 is fitted to define a casing which houses stops to limit the extent to which the seat 6 tips and means to bias the seat 6 to its raised, inoperative position. Armrests 12a are carried by arms 11a having bottom recesses 8b to engage the cross-beam 9. A table 17 which is stowable beneath the seat 6 is hinged, at 16, about a forwardly extending axis to a bracket 15 which is in turn hinged, at 14, about a transverse horizontal axis to an arm 11a carrying an armrest 12a.
