Abstract

1357179 Valves R A WEBBER Ltd 17 Nov 1972 [18 Nov 1971] 53493/71 Heading F2V A valve member comprises a holder 15 having a resilient insert therein including a head 17, a first portion 18 which has a free diameter greater than the bore 22 of the holder and a second portion (19) (Fig. 3, not shown) which is used to pull the first portion into the bore and which is subsequently removed. Thereafter the first portion forms a retaining knob by the amount it protrudes from the bore. Two similar valve members 16, 16a are shown mounted in an armature for use in a solenoid valve. Both valve members may be spring- loaded (Fig. 2, not shown).
