1355805 Attaching piston-rods to pistons ARMSTRONG PATENTS CO Ltd 21 Feb 1972 [9 Dec 1970] 58363/70 Heading F2S In a piston and piston-rod assembly for telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers, the piston-rod has an externally threaded spigot extending through a bore in the piston and engaged by an internally threaded sleeve of a fluid flow control valve to secure the piston to the rod. The valve housing contains a valve closure member resiliently urged against a seat formed by a part of the housing.
