1355601 Fire extinguishing composition FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 26 July 1972 [28 July 1971] 34961/72 Heading A5A A fire extinguishing composition contains a surface-active fluorine compound such as perfluoroalkyl sulphonate and a solvent selected from n-butanol, iso-butanol, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, and glycolic acid butyl ester. The fire extinguishing composition may be of the protein foam type and the synthetic type. Sugar solution may be added to the composition to enhance the lasting effect of the fire extinction, and ethylene glycol antifreeze may be included.
