Abstract

1349518 Cathode-ray tube circuits NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORP 13 Jan 1972 [14 Oct 1970] 48889/70 Heading H4T [Also in Division G4M] A cathode-ray tube sweep control circuit has a sine and cosine generator 10 feeding a 20 Hz sine wave 11 directly and via inverter 13 to a switch 16 and a cosine wave 12 directly and via an inverter 18 to a switch 21. The switches are operated together at 200 Hz to produce a switched sine wave Fig. 5A, and a similar cosine wave (Fig. 5B, not shown). The switched signals are fed to integrators 22, 23, amplifiers 24, 25 and a vidicon tube line coil 26 and field coil 27. The integrated wave forms create a sweep pattern as shown in Fig. 5E which is used to scan data on a label (Divisions G4-G6).
