Abstract

1348968 Mounting and driving rings in false twisters SOC CIVILE TEXTILE DITE SOCITEX 5 Dec 1972 [5 Jan 1972] 55999/72 Addition to 1304493 Heading DID In a false twisting device at least one ring 4 which internally contacts the yarn 3 is mounted for rotation against a driving roller 5 and a support roller 51. The outer edge of the ring is of magnetic material and the ring is held in place by a magnet 52. As shown the rings are arranged in two sets but all contact a common driving roller 5. The sets are mounted to be relatively swung about drive roller 5 as shown. The rings have the cross section shown in Fig. 5 in which part 55 may be a high frictional resistance material. Discs 8 of roller 5 and also the rollers 54 may have an outer edge of flexible material. Specification 1304493 is referred to.
