Abstract

1348522 Pipe-laying K G HOES [trading as KLAUS-GERD HOES] 18 May 1971 [19 Aug 1970] 15506/71 Heading F2P [Also in Division A1] A ditching and pipe-laying machine has a pipe-laying device 8 which supports the machine, in use, on the bottom of the previously dug ditch. Connected to the device 8 via resilient elements 7 and pushed thereby is a ditching plough 1 which is vibrated vertically by an oscillator 5 driven by the tractor power-takeoff. The leading edge of the device 8 may be provided with two pivot pins 4a, 6a the one 6a connected to draw arm 6 which is controlled by the power lift 2 of the tractor and the other 4a connected to a control cylinder 4 mounted on arm 6 this cylinder operative to maintain the base of device 8 substantially horizontal.
