1346305 Electrotherapeutic devices W A H FORBES 12 July 1971 [17 July 1970] 34703/70 Heading A5R [Also in Divisions A1 and A3] A bangle for personal or animal use comprises a flexible chain of copper links formed into a loop by a releasable fastener, a major portion of the loop being of high conductivity and presenting multiple copper surfaces for contact with the wearer, a minor loop portion being electrically non-conducting e.g. an insulating link of rubber, leather or plastics, or a copper link sheathed in an insulating material. The non-conducting portion of the loop is said to inhibit circulating currents in the bangle and thus to alleviate rheumatic and allied ailments.
