Abstract

1345306 Pelmets &c M SEITZ 24 April 1972 [26 April 1971] 18865/72 Heading A4B A support for valance, pelmet or the like comprises amounting plate 2 for securing between a curtain rail 4 and a ceiling 3, the plate 2 having a depending plate 6 provided with an array of apertures 13 and plug-in means 15 or 22 for fastening and tensioning the valance or pelmet, the plug-in means 15 or 22 being adjustably positioned by selective engagement in the apertures 13. In one form the plug-in means 15 comprises a plate 16 with an upstanding portion over which loops on the valance or pelmet may be hooked and a pair of pins 17 which push into a pair of apertures 13. The pins 17 are joined by a web 18 which engages a slot 14 extending between the apertures 13. In another form the plug-in means 22 comprises one or two pins 25 extending from a plate 24 having a finger grip portion 23 and in use this plug-in means clamps an end of a burr strip (27), Fig. 9 (not shown) in a slot 14 and the valance or pelmet being secured to the burr strip.
