1341255 Quenching apparatus KLOCKNERWERKE A G 19 April 1971 [30 May 1970] 26776/71 Heading C7N A component 10 is oil hardened by immersing it in oil, whilst directing tangential currents of oil from pivotally mounted nozzles 17. The component may be rotated, and when hollow, oil may be sprayed from a bottom nozzle 29. Horizontal and vertical rows of nozzles may be controlled individually. Oil is returned to the storage container 19 through an overflow pipe 18.
