Abstract

1338666 Clamps INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 16 Sept 1971 [24 Sept 1970] 43310/71 Heading E2B Cable-supporting rods 1, 1' are clamped together, at right-angles one above the other, by means of a clamp comprising a pair of parallel hooks 4 linked by a base 5 which carries a tightening screw 8. This screw may carry a projection serving as a cable guide (9, Fig. 3, not shown). A strip acting as a cable conducting sheet may be trapped between the nose of the screw and rod 1 (Fig. 4, not shown). The rods may be round and the hooks provided with serrated curved surfaces for gripping them (Figs. 6-9, not shown).
