1336551 Masted lift trucks BONSER ENG Ltd 19 April 1971 [20 Jan 1970] 2674/70 Heading B8H A side-shift device on a lift truck comprises a plate 13, mounted on the lifting carriage 10, and a plate 31, 32, 33 which is formed with an aperture within which the plate 13 is located. The upper and lower edges of the plate 13 and the adjacent edges of the plate members 31, 32 are formed with grooves within which are located bearing balls. The plate 31, 32, 33, on which fork lines (not shown) are mounted, is movable relative to the plate 13 by means of hydraulic rams 27.
