Abstract
1334331 Rotational casting ANISA SA 15 Feb 1972 [13 Jan 1972] 6848/72 Heading B5A Rotational casting machine comprises a rotary member having at least four arms supporting moulds or mould-rotating devices, a charging station, a heating station, and at least two cooling stations. As shown in Fig. 1, the rotary member has four arms 1 and rotates about axis 2. The charging station 4, heating station 5<SP>1</SP>, and cooling stations 6, 7 are mounted on circular path 3. The heater may comprise a furnace 5 movable e.g. on rails in the direction of arrow F between the heating station 5<SP>1</SP> and a withdrawn position at which its doors may be opened and closed. The cooling stations 6, 7 may comprise hoods which are vertically removable and have slots (8) to fit over the arms 1.
