Abstract
1334222 Gas-cell atomic frequency standards PLESSEY CO Ltd 28 Aug 1970 [31 May 1969] 27675/69 Heading G6P In a gas-cell frequency standard, the heating of the cell and the intensity of the incident light are matched so as to maintain the cell at the zero gradient range of the frequency-temperature characteristic. The cell temperature is measured by a temperature sensitive resistor, in contact with the glass envelope, which controls the cell heating system. The intensity of the incident light is adjusted by filters.
