Abstract

1334005 An automatic firearm HECKLER & KOCH GmbH 11 May 1971 [15 May 1970] 14276/71 Heading F3C An automatic firearm has a breech carrier 1 and a breech head 2 connected by a member 3, the carrier having a bore 11 therein which receives a buffer 15, springs 12, 13 and a strikerpin 21. The buffer 15 has an extension 16 which enters the spring 13 and has extensions 18, 18 which, along with a groove 20 in the breech 1, guide a slidable member 19. The spring 13 may be provided with braking rings 25. The strikerpin 21 is provided with a spring 23 which is located between the member 3 and a shoulder 24 formed on the striker-pin 21, and has a portion 22 which passes through a bore in the member 19. The springs and the striker-pin are released from the carrier 1 by forcing the portion 22 into the carrier 1 and then sliding the member 19 out of position.
