Abstract

1333947 Jet looms MACHINEFABRIEK L TE STRAKE NV 22 Oct 1970 [22 Oct 1969] 50323/70 Heading D1E A jet loom has nozzles 1, 2 spaced across the width of the shed, which nozzles are supplied successively with pressurised fluid or the supply to each nozzle is reduced or interrupted successively as the weft is carried across the shed. The nozzles may be operated so that each is supplied with air just before the preceding nozzle in direction of weft travel is shut off, so that the weft end is carried across the shed by succeeding nozzles. Air is supplied to the nozzles in succession by a source 20 of pressurised fluid actuating a valve member 18 controlling jet 1 through a cam 15 controlled valve 16, the valve member 18 in turn actuating the next nozzle 2 valve member 21 through a connection 22.
