Abstract

1329495 Dispensing liquids VENDO CO 19 April 1971 [18 Aug 1970] 24619/71 Heading A4T Apparatus handling liquids e.g. beverage dispenser, has flavouring liquid in three containers 14, Figs.1, 2 each having an outlet 60, 32, 44 an inlet 56, 34 for filling and pressurizing with gas and a valve controlled vent 78, 36, the containers being immersed in an insulated tank 12 of liquid 22 heated or cooled by coils 24, sinking in the liquid 22 when the containers are full and rising when they empty. The neck of each container is freely movable in a slot 52 in a removable bracket 50 carrying a switch 68, 18 having an arm 72 extending over the neck between the inlet and outlet which operates the switch in response to the amount of liquid in a container, e.g. when empty, to operate a "sold out" indicator. Carbonated water may be cooled in coils 26 and the container may be independently filled or filled under pressure from another tank.
