Abstract

1328693 Making knitted garments BENTLEY ENG CO Ltd 2 Sept 1971 [5 June 1970] 27205/70 Heading A3V [Also in Division D1] A tubular knitted garment blank includes two areas of fullness (see also Divisions D1-2) so that by suitably cutting the blank the areas comprise breast pockets or legs of drawers or trunks. If the blank includes two pairs of pouches 11-14 the tube can be slit along line AB, cut and folded along lines CD and seamed to make a swimsuit. A jumper Fig. 7 is produced by knitting a pair of breast pouches nearer one end than the other. A pair of trunks having fuller areas at the legs, or a bra, may also be knitted.
