Abstract

1326196 Refrigerating; portable heaters; unit heaters T CARPENTER and M G CARPENTER 16 Sept 1970 [25 Oct 1969] 52370/69 Headings F4B, F4V and F4W A condition control unit utilizable for controlling conditions in storage areas, particularly for potatoes, comprises a temperature control assembly, which includes a refrigeration unit and/or a heater assembly; an impeller; attachment means for securing the unit adjacent an aperture in the walls of the storage area; and a trolley upon which the temperature control assembly, the impeller and the attachment means are mounted. As shown, an evaporator assembly 3 is mounted eccentrically on the trolley such that when the frame surround 2 is secured adjacent an aperture in the storage area wall, the trolley means i.e. casters 16, 16<SP>1</SP> will remain outside the area, but the assembly 3 projects into the storage area.
