1325995 Selective printing KOMBINAT ZENTRONIK VEB 29 Jan 1971 3515/71 Heading B6F A print carriage 1 is driven in linewise direction by a balt 12 from a driven shaft 17 couplable to the belt 12 by alternative magnetic clutches 5, 6, a magnetic brake 7, 8 being provided corresponding to each magnetic clutch and driven at lower angular velocity in the same sense as the corresponding clutch. A brake 19 may be provided. The belt 12 may be employed for all carriage movements as shown, or only for tabulation and carriage return movements, a lead screw (3, Fig. 1) being employed for letter.spacing.
