Abstract

1323395 Valves APAW SA 4 Feb 1972 [5 Feb 1971] 5343/72 Heading F2V In an ice-cream blending and dispensing apparatus comprising a pair of dispensing cylinders 2, 3 provided with pistons 6, 7 controlling respective feed ports 4, 5, and an intermediate blending and dispensing cylinder 10 provided with a piston 11 controlling feed passages 12, 13, the piston 11 is provided with a sealing unit 120 comprising a pair of rings 112, 212 connected together in axially-spaced relationship by a pair of diametrically-opposite straight members 412. The members 412 prevent leakage circumferentially of the piston 11 when in its closed position shown, and thereby prevent premature intermixing of the different flavour ice-cream delivered through passages 12, 13.
