Abstract
1323113 Packages BECORIT GRUBENAUSBAU GmbH 13 July 1970 [11 July 1969] 33870/70 Heading B8C [Also in Division F2] A destructible cartridge of components of an adhesive comprises at least one easily breakable elongated casing 2 containing hardener secured to the outside of an elongated container 1 containing a hardenable resin. As described a cartridge comprises a thin flexible synthetic plastics foil container 1 of settable synthetic resin and fragile glass tubes 2 contain hardener for the resin, secured to the cartridge case 1 with thin wire. The glass tubes are below the outer periphery of the case to be protected from accidental damage and to give rigidity to the cartridge. The hardener containers extend substantially the whole length of the cartridge case. At one end of the cartridge case the hardener container may contain more (Fig. 6) or more potent hardener (Fig. 7) or extra hardener cases may be provided (Fig. 5). After the cartridge is inserted in a hole an anchoring bolt is inserted and breaks the two containers and is held by the resin.
