Abstract

1322942 Spray producers CIBA-GEIGY AG 7 Aug 1970 38259/70 Heading B2F [Also in Division F4] A spray producer comprises a gas container la and a liquid container 35 mounted side-byside on a base 37, the gas container having a manually operable discharge valve 2, the gas being discharged into a venturi nozzle 39, a tube 45 depending from the narrow part 41 of nozzle 39 into the liquid 36 in container 35. The valve 2 is operated by a push-button 5c which depresses valve stem 20 and displaces a flexible gasket 126 to admit gas from the container 1a, via a radial bore to the outlet passage 43. The gas in the container 1a is dispersed within a porous carrier 8 contained within a gas-permeable bag 6 (see Div. F4). The liquid 36 is contained within a flexible bag 56 within container 35.
