Abstract
1322889 Fluid pressure servomotor systems HOLLYMATIC CORP 28 March 1972 [30 July 1971] 14468/72 Heading G3P An air motor comprises an inlet 18, a rotor 20 and an exhaust 26, the air supply to the rotor being controlled by a valve seat 3 and valve member 38 which is urged to the open position by the pressure of air at the inlet and to the closed position by a spring 52 and fluid pressure in chamber 53 derived from a bleed 55 from the inlet. The pressure in chamber 53 is controlled by a centrifugally actuated valve member 69 such that with decreasing speed of the rotor the chamber 53 is vented causing the valve member 38 to move away from the valve seat and so increase the speed of the rotor.
