Abstract

The serrations A, B, Fig. 1, at the edges of the guard C of a safety razor alternate with each other, as shown, so that by reversing the blade or the. guard the parts of the blade-edges that were first covered by the serrations become exposed. In a modification, Fig. 2, the hole F in the guard for the passage of the screw or clamp G and the stud-holes H are made elongated, as shown, so that the guard can be shifted and secured in such a position that previously-covered blade-edge portions become exposed. The elongated holes may be in the blade instead of in the guard, the blade being in this case, adjusted when desired,
